अनुराग कश्यपवर झालेल्या लैगिंक शोषणाच्या आरोपाच्या विरोधात अनेक सेलिब्रिटी पुढे येताना दिसत आहेत. अनेक सेलिब्रिटी अनुरागच्या बाजूने बोलताना दिसत आहेत. याचदरम्यान इरफान खानचा मुलगा बाबिलने अनुरागची बाजू घेतली होती. यानंतर मात्र त्याला नेटिझन्सनी चांगलंच ट्रोल केलं आहे.

So really man, I have truly lost respect for people that claim they know my father, or hahahaha know my father better than me like “oh your father would be so ashamed of you” , Boi or girl shut you mouth, me and baba were the bestest friends don’t try to teach me what my father would have done, don’t jump on a band wagon just cause you can without knowing his true beliefs. If you’re an Irrfan Khan fan, come prove it me, show me his fascinations with Tarkovsky and Bergmann and then we shall probably start a conversation of how much you think you know my father. He was beyond you my friend.

बाबिल आपल्या पोस्टमध्ये म्हणतो, ‘मीटूचा लावला गेलेला अर्थ चुकिचा निघताना दिसून येत आहे. खरं तर पुरुषप्रधान संस्कृतीला शह देणं हा या मीटूचा मूळ उद्देश होता. पण अलीकडे मीटू च्या नावाखाली खोट्या घटना समोर येताना दिसत आहेत. अशाने ज्या महिलांना याची खरी गरज आहे त्या मात्र अंधारात राहतील. 

यापुढे बाबिल म्हणतो, ‘ अनुराग सर मान उंच करा. हा निर्णय माझा स्वत:चा आहे. त्याची जबाबदारी मी घेईन.’ यावर ट्रोलर्सनी ‘तुझ्या वडिलांना तुझी लाज वाटेल’ अशी कमेंट करत ट्रोल केलं. यावर बाबिल म्हणतो, ‘ मी आणि बाबा सगळ्यात चांगले मित्र होतो. त्यामुळे कुणी मला हे शिकवू नये की माझ्या वडिलांना काय वाटलं असेल.’
