सोशल मिडियावर सेलिब्रिटींना अनेकदा सायबर बुलिंगला सामोरं जावं लागतं. अभिनेत्रींना तर अत्यंत अश्लील कमेंटस, ट्रोलिंग यांना सतत सामोरं जावं लागतं. सध्या सोशल मिडियावर #indiaagainstabuse हा हॅशटॅग ट्रेंड होत आहे. यामध्ये  सोनम कपूर, दीया मिर्जा, अहाना कुमरा, कोंकणा सेनशर्मा, आलिया भट या अभिनेत्रींनी मत मांडलं होतं. यासोबतच अमृता सुभाषनेही या चळवळीत सहभाग नोंदवला आहे.

We have launched our Petition Campaign for *#IndiaAgainstAbuse* on change.org/indiaagainstabuse Please *Sign* *Forward* and make #indiaagainstabuse into a National Campaign demanding an immediate step to *take strict action against targeted abuse and online harassment*. Our next step is a video Campaign. An appeal to your friends/ family/ fans/ followers and everyone who uses the internet to understand the constant threat and abusive environment we witness online. You can choose the format. You can make it funny, thoughtful, angry, emotional, whatever you are feeling. You can speak in Hindi, English and/or any vernacular that you know so this has maximum representation. Please make a small video answering the following Questions whichever ones you wish to address. 1. How often do You get abused or harassed online? 2. For what do you get abused? (it could be anything.. often it's for literally nothing.) 3. What are the profanities/ abuses hurled at you? 4. What impact (immediate and long term) does it have on you? 5. How do you respond to it? 6. How often do you receive objectionable graphic images from strangers? 7. One thing you would want people to understand about being on the receiving end of abuse. - Your Appeal. Please send us this video on mail at [email protected] and also please share it on your social media pages/handles. Tomorrow we start posting these videos urging people to make their own videos. Girls/Boys from anywhere and everywhere who wanna talk about their experience with social media bullying and harassment. This is a joint reality. As we must engage with it as a united front. यावेळी अमृताने एक व्हिडियो शेअर केला आहे. याशिवाय #indiaagainstabuse नावाचं पिटीशन तिने साईन करण्याची चाहत्यांना विनंती केली आहे. यासोबतच आसपासच्या लोकांनाही हे पिटीशन साईन करण्याची विनंती तिने केली आहे. या व्हिडियोमध्ये ती म्हणते, ‘ मला अनेकदा काम आवडलं नसल्याबाबत कळवलं जातं. पण कितीतरी वेळा ही पद्धत अत्यंत वाईट असते. अनेकदा वाईट फोटो पाठवले जातात. बलात्काराच्या धमक्या मिळतात. पण हे थांबवणं गरजेचं आहे.’
